nice tuto, very useful.

another topic for which i would happy to have a refresher is when we add an image to an existing folder already in catalog. based on Scott Lightroom 4 book chapter 2 organizer, i use synchronize folder.
But when i have a folder with images, sometimes i have the images but not the folder name containing these new images.

Thanks, Scott, really glad to be reminded. You’ve explained this previously, but it’s the kinda thing that has a half-life with me and I start cleaning up my hard drives and reorganizing things and completely forget that I mustn’t touch photo names except from within Lightroom. Thank you!

Does just changing the file name under ‘Metadata’ cause any problems?
