1. The speed is amazing That’s a great thing.

2. The photos are imported into the folder you were in before the Connection Kit was connected. This is important to know because there is no other dialog to set this.
For instance I have dated Folders / LR Collections and I was in a 2018 dated folder when I started import. So the imported photos (which were of December 2019) showed up in that folder and synced to the corresponding collection in LR Classic.

3. There is no possibility to determine whether RAW and/or JPEG are imported – everything on the card will. So for those shooting RAW + JPEG (for quickly sending out a few shots for instance) but do not want to download both: for now you’re out of luck.
And instead of deselecting half the photos on your card you’re best off downloading everything and then deleting what’s unwanted.

Let’s hope they improve this in the next few versions.

It will depend on the camera connection kit you use. There is one kit that is simply an SD card reader, but there is also a lightning to USB kit, which you can use with a regular USB card reader for other memory card formats.

I.e. showing the last cropped image first when cropping.

What happens next? Let’s say I shoot the first quarter of a game. I import the photos to my ipad, then send off a few. Since all 300 photos going to the cloud and in my storage, how can i remove them from storage?

Part 2 – If they sync to my PC, can I uncheck the sync box and have them removed from the Adobe Cloud?
