Thanks, Lyle! I had always assumed that choosing that option would change back to LR’s defaults rather than saving mine. It would be nice if the LR docs had this in a findable place. 🙂

Colin – if you hover (I’m on windows) on the column header name you can choose about anything you want. Then go to the upper right corner where you see the lock ? Click on the word left of the lock, and in there you can save the current setup as Default Columns. Click so the lock is closed and they’ll come up that way all the time when you enter LR.

I rarely use camera or label when filtering, but I nearly always use keywords. But I have to manually choose keywords every time! How do I make keywords show up as one of these 4 metadata categories by default so I don’t have to take the extra step every time?
